New Life for Former Co-op Store

Williams Gallagher has been appointed by West Midlands developer Goold Estates to advise on its recent acquisition of the former Coop store in Stourport.

With the planned closure of the Co-op store, Goold Estates is seeking to repurpose this key town centre site through the subdivision of the existing unit to form a new, multi-let in-town retail park to be known as Tannery Retail Park. The subdivision will see the creation of up to no. 5 new units for lawful occupation by Class E end users. Williams Gallagher has prepared and applied for the proposed works which include the creation of new entrances and introduction of full height glazing to the southern elevation.
