Williams Gallagher has secured full planning permission for the demolition of an existing first floor maisonette and redevelopment for five apartments above retained ground floor retail unit at 12A-12B Peascod Street, Windsor.
The site overlooks Windsor Castle and was subject to extensive negotiations with the conservation officer during the pre-application stages of the project and also following submission of the application. This was to ensure that the scheme provided the most beneficial response to the conservation area and surrounding listed buildings as designated heritage assets. The planning application was approved unanimously. The consultant team included Accord Architecture, KMHeritage and Williams Gallagher.
