Working on behalf of Realis Estates, Williams Gallagher secured full planning permission for the 435,000 sqft retail and leisure development known as Unity Walk, in Stoke-on-Trent.
The planning permission secures the transformation of the southern end of the city through the delivery of 244,990 sqft of retail space; 32,485 sqft of food and drink uses; 81,920 sqft of leisure space comprising of a gym and a 10-screen cinema; a 90-bed hotel; triple deck car park with 600 spaces; and public realm improvements.
Matthew and Heather were retained by Realis following their departure from Savills (who had previously advised on the scheme). We have since been instructed by Realis to provide advice in connection with projects elsewhere in the UK (including Windsor, Marlborough and Milton Keynes) and have provided pro-bono advice to Acorns Children’s Hospice – a charity that Realis has long since supported.
